Senior Functional Business Analyst (Federal Health)

Work you’ll do 

• Review and verify documentation and requirements to maintain high accuracy and completeness.
• Effectively use business analysis and Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and other relevant software to manage projects.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
• Identify and address business and technical issues, and propose effective solutions to enhance project performance.
• Implement Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to manage and execute projects efficiently.
• Develop comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and end-users through both written and verbal channels.
• Analyze and translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and user stories to guide project development.

This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. Qualifications 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree required. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.
• Ability to travel 15-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• 5+ years of Consulting experience or relevant industry experience.
• 3 + years of Functional Requirements gathering experience. 
• 3 + years of experience supporting the SDLC following the Agile methodology. 

Preferred: 

• Prior exposure supporting Government/Federal Digital Transformation efforts
• Agile or Scrum Master certification. 
• PMP or additional professional certifications.
