Job Summary

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer to join our team as a Sr. SSO Engineer. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background, with at least 7-10 years of hands-on expertise in leading IAM platforms. As a Senior SSO Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and supporting cutting-edge SSO solutions while demonstrating a deep understanding of advanced security requirements. You will be responsible for how users within the company are given an identity - and how it is protected, including saving critical applications, data and systems from unauthorized access while managing the identities and access rights of people both inside and outside the organization.

You will contribute towards the Define, Build, Implement and Maintain processes to secure the organizations resources. These resources includes user identities, physical assets as well as the wide range of business applications that users use every day to access intellectual property or confidential information. You will have a solid knowledge of engineering skills and methodologies with a working knowledge of applicable cyber security compliance standards. You will integrate knowledge of business and functional priorities and act as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. You have the potential to take on leadership responsibilities for teams or projects and is open to sharing expertise with others.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work with various teams to implement SSO solutions for their applications.

  • Provide SME level guidance to Application teams, to comply with various Comcast Security principles and requirements.

  • Assist application teams with SSO and IAM related troubleshooting.

  • Monitor and support users’ requests received through mailbox/slack/Jira etc.

  • Work with cross domain IAM teams to collaborate on various IAM solutions and provide SSO related guidance.

  • Track and prioritize multiple projects and provide periodic status reports/metrics to senior leadership.

  • Mentor other members of the team on Web Access Management / API Security best practices.

  • Provide clear communication of Engineering strategy, management and mentoring of senior enterprise security engineers, deep knowledge of Web Access Management platforms and excellent business acumen.

  • Develop industry standard documentation for various day to day and other complex implementations.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience managing and supporting identity systems, with a strong preference for expertise in Azure AD and PingFederate.

  • Hands-on experience (at least 5 years) integrating applications using standards such as SAML/OpenID Connect.

  • Proven ability to execute projects independently and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to achieve project/task completion.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience managing infrastructure, including patching and vulnerability management.

  • 3-5 years' experience in troubleshooting, managing, and solving complex technical issues.

  • Hands-on experience integrating APIs using standards like OAuth 2.

  • Good understanding and application knowledge of advanced Azure AD features such as conditional access policies and risk-based policies is a significant advantage.

  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell) and developing code.

  • Knowledge about Zero Trust principles and application security.
