Junior Logistician

WWC Global is seeking a Junior Logistician to perform the following actions and analysis using data in the Fleet Logistic System (FLS) and applicable standards:
- Determine the extent and acceptability of interchangeable/substitute items and recommend any modification necessary to the equipment.
- Determine the effect of changes in maintenance on supply chain.
- Assess and advise on the impact of equipment support program efforts Coast Guard wide.
- Apply ten (10) elements of logistics to Small Boat Product Line (SBPL) supported assets.
- Draft Equipment Integrated Logistics Support Plans for systems and equipment supported by SBPL.
- Apply principles of Reliability-Centered Maintenance and various standards such as MIL-P-24534 Planned Maintenance System, SAE RCM Standard: JA1011, ABS RCM, and MSG 3 to SBPL supported assets.
- Assess and advise on the impact of Coast Guard, Navy, and Other Government Agency (OGA) small boat related programs on current SBPL support practices.
- Generate and maintain maintenance standards in FLS, FLS-Mobile Asset Manager (MAM) modules and NESSS.
- Generate and maintain maintenance parts information in FLS, FLS-MAM modules and NESSS.
- Generate, analyze and alter allowance lists in NESSS.
- Provide assistance to Contracting Officer Representatives (COR s) in the execution of various tasks that support the ACMS section with maintaining, developing and analyzing maintenance and supply records in the FLS.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Travel:

Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
- Understanding of the USCG and the SBPL.
- Experience in logistics in support of USCG maintenance and experience with the USCG Logistics Business Model
- Experience in utilizing the FLS and NESSS.
- Working knowledge of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems in additional to electronics systems Familiarity of USCG software.
