KGaA.</strong><br/>This position is <strong>permanent</strong>, <strong>full-time</strong>, and based in <strong>Einbeck</strong>, (Lower Saxony). </p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>What’s the role about?</strong></span></p> <p>Within the International AgroService Sugarbeet team, you’ll be part of the scientific backbone of our agronomic advisory services. We contribute in-depth knowledge to research and development projects – ensuring that our KWS traits unfold their full potential globally.</p> <p>Your work will focus on crop protection – strategically, practically, and with a strong consultative element. You’ll take on responsibility for the development of holistic crop protection and crop management strategies and strengthen our location-specific advisory services. <strong>Your goal: to empower our customers to grow sugarbeets more profitable, sustainably, and successfully – by combining agronomic know-how with innovative thinking.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong>Your tasks – where advisory meets strategy:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Development and implementation of specific fungicide recommendations for sugarbeets in our sugarbeet markets to ensure optimal performance of our varieties.</li> <li>Developing herbicide strategies for the entire crop rotation that minimize or avoid the use of ALS herbicides in non-CONVISO® SMART crops and promote the use of tank mixtures with different modes of action to ensure stewardship and resistance management.</li> <li>Integrating crop protection recommendations into our stewardship and management concepts for our traits.</li> <li>Coordinating and supporting the implementation of crop protection recommendations at the local level in close cooperation with KWS colleagues and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Further developing the global vision of International AgroService through outstanding agronomic advice and promoting cooperation with internal and external stakeholders worldwide.</li> </ul> <p><br/><span><strong>Your profile - competence meets personality:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Academic degree in agricultural sciences or a comparable field</li> <li><strong>In-depth specialist knowledge and practical experience, ideally in agricultural consulting and crop protection</strong>, combined with strong passion for sugarbeet</li> </ul> <ul> <li>A proactive mindset and a reliable, independent work style with attention to detail</li> <li><strong>Strong organizational skills</strong> and project management capabilities across regions and cultures – open to innovation, with a clear focus on priorities and the ability to manage multiple projects flexibly and effectively</li> <li>Professional confidence and a strong sense for stakeholders – you can inspire people with new ideas and strategies</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate in international teams</li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li>IT skills in Microsoft Applications</li> <li><strong>Fluency in English</strong> (other languages are a plus), <strong>willingness to travel</strong> (~20%), <strong>valid driver’s license (Class B)</strong></li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><span><strong>What you can look forward to:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>A diverse and engaging role in an international environment, within an agile, dynamic, and innovation-driven team where your ideas will help shape a new era of agronomic consulting in sugarbeets</li> <li>Personal responsibility for your area in line with our motto: “Make yourself grow!”.
