About the role

MTSI is seeking an innovative and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Advanced Technology with emphasis in Modeling & Simulation. This role will oversee the development, maturation, implementation, and management of cutting-edge technologies to rapidly enhance warfighter capability, and to drive organizational growth and maintain a competitive edge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emerging technologies, strategic planning, and team leadership, with a proven ability to align technological initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for modeling & simulation initiatives aligned with organizational goals (cross-division).
Provide expertise and cross divisional collaboration.
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced technologies into existing systems and processes.
Coordinate and collaborate with Services and RCO’s across domains (ground, air, sea, space) and classification levels to mature and develop enhanced capabilities to the warfighter.
Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals, fostering innovation and professional growth.
Monitor industry trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for technology projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.
15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on advanced or emerging technologies.
TS/SCI and SAR eligible
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects.
Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, cloud computing, IoT, and other emerging technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in government or highly regulated industries.
Experience working in TS/SCI SAR environments.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and frameworks.
Certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, AWS, Azure certifications).
