You know how to:
- Execute month-end closings and analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, ensuring a seamless financial period transition.
- Manage cashflow
- Assist with budget preparation, monitor actual versus budget variances, and report findings to management.
- Prepare and post journal entries, account adjustments, and accruals to the General Ledger.
- Ensure proper revenue and expense recognition.
- Reconcile bank accounts along with maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
- Manage PBC’s and prepare schedules for annual audit.
- Work across multiple departments, set priorities, plan, and manage projects and recommend corrective actions that will help achieve financial targets.
- Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping, documentation, calculation, payment, and filing of returns for all sales and use tax returns.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- 5+ years of experience in accrual-based accounting along with analyzing data, post transaction details, month-end closing procedures, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, and financial statement preparation.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Knowledge and experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
- Public accounting experience a plus
- CPA, CGMA, or CMA a plus
Pay and Benefits
This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely.
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis (The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees] skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role. Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)
