Job Description
The Admissions & Records Work Study provides support to the A&R office, WNC students and the entire WNC campus. The A&R Work Study is often the first person a new student has contact with when coming to WNC. The position supports the A&R office by greeting customers, answering phone calls, giving directions, answering questions, inputting transcripts, and other clerical duties. The Admissions & Records Work Study is an important part of the A&R office and contributes to the overall success of WNC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greeting and assisting customers
Answering phone calls and questions
Input transcripts, scanning documents, shredding, filing
Work Study Required
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed, this position requires applicants to have been awarded Work Study funds. Work study funds are based on your eligibility determined by the FAFSA and are awarded as part of your Financial Aid package. Experience in customer service is a plus but not mandatory

Fall & Spring Semester Eligibility
Enrollment in at least 6 credits each regular semester; and
Be in a degree seeking program; and
Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements:
67% completion rate in the last enrolled semester
67% cumulative completion rate
2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale
