Parts Transfer Driver

Beltway Companies, the largest heavy-duty commercial truck dealership in the state of Maryland, is hiring for a Parts Transfer Driver out of our Halethorpe (Baltimore) location. Our Parts Transfer Driver role is an integral part of our best-in-class customer service, delivering and picking up parts and equipment for our customers and dealerships.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Over 70% travel, approximately 100-200 miles per day
• Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups, including verifying invoices and payments
• Maintains a timely schedule and professional interactions with customers
• Handles basic maintenance of the van: inspection and safety
• Warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

GENERAL WORK QUALITIES REQUIRED

• Clean driving record and current driver’s license
• Able to obtain a DOT medical card
• Good verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude
• Previous experience in transportation / warehouse environment preferred
• Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) required
• Dependable and responsible

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime if applicable

• The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $18 to $20 per hour
