Global Retail Training Developer
As a Global Retail Training Developer, you’ll be responsible for developing training resources for our 17,000 retail employees across the globe. You’ll need to ensure that the training content you develop provides our retail teams with the skills and tools they’ll need to deliver a wordclass in-store experience to our customers. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop training materials that support our business objectives, and you’ll gather feedback and data to ensure we continuously improve and innovate.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop effective training content across a variety of formats such as e-learning modules, classroom content, digital resources, printed learner materials, and videos.

Utilise instructional design principles and learning theory to create content that is interactive, learner-centric and aligned with the learning objectives.

Build strong relationships with individuals across all levels of the business, in both our retail teams and across our Global functions and collaborate closely with them to understand training needs and goals.

Engage with Subject Matter Experts to understand and translate their expertise into accessible and comprehensive training material that is accurate and relevant to the learners needs.

Keep track of training content that has been developed, ensuring it is regularly updated to keep it relevant and refreshed.

Use data analytic tools, KPI performance and feedback mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of training resources, making adjustments and enhancements based on these insights.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practice in training content development to explore new ways of working, and continuously share suggestions for improvements with the wider team.

Proven experience in training content development, instructional design, or a similar role. Proven experience in retail is also beneficial.

Proficiency with authoring tools, e.g. Articulate Storyline, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise in order to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Able to foster a collaborative environment, using exceptional communication skills to build relationships.

Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and a passion to innovate as well as staying up to date with industry trends.

Global Career Band 5 - Developer
Travel: Up to 10 days of travel per year can be expected
