Job Description

AECOM/Hunt has an exciting opportunity in the Dallas Metro Area for an experienced General Superintendent.  

• Accountable and overall responsibility for on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects. 
• Leads, directs and manages the entire direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project. 
• Primary Liaison with client for day-to-day activities and long-term operations. 
• Communicates and directs through other superintendents, changes or modification of jobsite activities within assigned area of operations. 
• Accountable for compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. 
• Primary interface and engagement with Project Executive and manager group to coordinate efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

• BA/BS and 10 years of relevant experience in commercial construction or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

• 10 years' experience as a Superintendent.
• Experience in scheduling projects and executing accordingly.
• Commercial Construction experience in the follow industries: 
  • healthcare
  • higher education
  • stadium/sports arena
  • high-rise/mixed use
  • datacenter
• OSHA 30
• Proficiency with various construction software such as: Primavera, CMIC, BIM, Procore, etc.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work.
