Where You Will Work    

Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you will collaborate primarily virtually anywhere in the U.S. except California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Additional states may be excluded based on business factors. Occasionally, you may be required to attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix and/or one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working café, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration.  In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

Description

Under limited supervision, plan, organize, manage and evaluate assigned tasks, including but not limited to:  reliability, safety, company standards, work quality, best practices and environmental management.  Oversees the rebuild of key mobile mining equipment at OEM shops and mine sites.  
  • Establish tactical and strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures for mobile mining equipment reliability and administers the mobile mining equipment rebuild program in North and South America
  • Provide technical maintenance support for critical production issues
  • Provide technical assistance and recommendations to maintenance staff and implement reliability best practices during mobile mining equipment rebuilds
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new rebuild and repair processes
  • Standardize maintenance equipment and procedures for mobile mining equipment
  • Oversee the utilization of standardized mobile mining equipment rebuild procedures and processes
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications  
  • High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or management experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of mine maintenance including but not limited to the associated processes, work flow and equipment
  • Proficient in all repairs and procedures for haul trucks, dozers and loaders
  • Working knowledge and understanding of all equipment build procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word & Excel
  • Skill in supervising, evaluating, training and motivating employees
  • Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, direct and manage a diverse number of operational areas, projects and activities
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Skill in following safety practices and recognizing hazards

 

Preferred
  • Knowledge of mine mobile maintenance, specifically on haul trucks

 

Criteria/Conditions  
  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
  • Work requires regular travel within the US and internationally
  • Work is in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see
