Specialist, Logistics - Bilingual Spanish

As a Specialist, Parts in Managed Transportation at RXO, you’ll deliver exceptional service to our customers and drivers before, during and after the call.

 

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Initiate meetings with all applicable groups to communicate program changes, follow up on deliveries status and outstanding issues
• Lead and coordinate onsite program reviews with applicable groups
• Work with suppliers to provide daily shipment-level support, raise issues and seek problem solving and escalate as needed
• Minimize the need for premium transportation while still meeting delivery windows
• Monitor program delivery milestone dates and quantities to the destination
• Keep close communication and follow-up with suppliers to meet container program delivery milestones
• Assist in the resolution of container deployment logistic issues and border-crossing customs
• Address website user training, problems and onboarding new suppliers
• Assist with the Supplier Practical Problem-Solving Tool when suppliers are not compliant with delivery, logistics, and communication and work on corrective measures
• Work with supplier on capacity constraint plans to resolve roadblocks
• Strategically develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs
• Develop, execute and coordinate the tactical transportation plans for multiple manufacturing facilities including inbound, interplant and outbound transportation plans
• Manage transportation events and enhance carrier utilization to ensure on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction through cost efficiencies
• Collaborate with other groups such as our customers’ suppliers and customer representatives, i.e., plants, program purchasing, managers and engineers

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 1 year of experience dealing with high phone/email volume in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong supplier and customer interaction experience

 

It’d be great if you also have:

• Basic computer skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

• Knowledge of the transportation industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including multitasking and managing customer expectations in a fast-paced environment
