SECTION 1: WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR 

We’re looking for a Sr. Sourcing Analyst who is passionate about building for the future of footwear sourcing with out-of-the-box thinking and a proactive approach to operational challenges. You will manage multiple workstreams and drive insights into actions by partnering with cross-functional partners. You bring a proactive, self-starter attitude that is excited to work on data analytics and scenario planning to achieve a shared vision.  

SECTION 2: WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON 

A typical day/week will include developing and executing sourcing plans for products on a 1–2-year time horizon while building future network capability. You will collaborate with product creation to source product in the right place for the right time, balancing Nike requirements against operational limitations. You will provide sourcing system(s) support/leadership for cross-functional projects and implementations as well as insights and analysis support to leaders to help them make critical decisions and identify areas of opportunity. You create and enable product to be made and delivered to the consumer. 

SECTION 3: WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH 

In this role you will be contributing to a comprehensive sourcing strategy. You will be reporting to a director and helping manage sourcing strategies over multiple horizons and complexities. Your work will include scenario planning, analyzing tradeoffs and optimization opportunities, standardizing business processes, and creating the future of Nike Footwear Sourcing. This work is not done in a silo! You will be closely collaborating with Supply Planning, Product Development, internal analytics teams, and counterparts in Asia. This is an individual contributor position. 

SECTION 4: WHAT YOU BRING  

• Bachelor’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain or a related field 

• 5+ years’ work experience in supply chain or related capacity in a manufacturing, trading, or consumer goods industry 

• 2 years’ additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree 

• Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing demands. 

• Meticulous, adept in managing large datasets and communicating insights. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to see opportunity and generate solutions. 

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a strong sense of self-motivation and urgency. 

• Strong influencing skills to drive action and collaboration across tech and non-tech teams.  

• Proficiency with data automation and reporting tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Smartsheets) to support the development of innovative analytics and reporting. 

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. 

• Self-motivated, with strong sense of accountability, resourcefulness, and drive. A ready mindset for continual process improvement and automation. 

• Strong communication skills, specifically with influencing and storytelling
