Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners

Description

Venesco, LLC has an upcoming need for multiple Family Medicine Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioners at Fayetteville Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. PSd/NPs personnel shall be responsible for providing Family Practice and interventional Family Practice consultative services for: assessment, diagnostic work-up and clinic intervention, including comprehensive patient assessment, health history, physical examination, and patient education to Veterans in the Primary Care team setting; outpatient include both scheduled and unscheduled Veterans. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral. Record/document health appraisal information, clinical assessments, treatment decision, plan of care, ongoing management and therapeutic outcomes, order medications, diagnostic test and referral consultations where needed for every patient encounter; recording will be accomplished using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS) and will be completed on the day of the encounter.

Requirements

1. Completion of an accredited PA or NP program.
2. One year of experience as a PA or NP in a Family Medicine setting.
3. Active, Unrestricted License to practice as a PA or NP from one of the 50 states or U.S. Territories.
