 The Opportunity:

We are hiring a full time day shift RN for our Labor and Delivery float pool. This position will float between the Plaza in Kansas City, MO, East in Lee's Summit, MO and North and Kansas City, MO.

The Float Pool is a cohesive team that supports one another and possesses strong communication skills. We have experienced a lot of growth in the last few years and are proud of our retention rate.

Shift Details:

Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance

Some weekend and holiday commitments

The Work:

• This position is accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
