Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and have a deep understanding of modern IT systems and technologies. As a Senior IT Administrator, you will have a critical role in managing and overseeing the technological infrastructure within our CGI and AI-driven production environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Systems Management: Oversee and manage the company's IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. This includes workstations, servers, network equipment, and software applications.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide high-level technical support for all hardware and software issues. This includes troubleshooting, system repairs, and regular preventative maintenance.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Security Management: Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to protect the company's data and IT systems. Regularly conduct security audits and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure the procurement of high-quality IT equipment and services.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for the organisation.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior IT personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Create and manage disaster recovery plans and backups to ensure data safety and business continuity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT administration, ideally with a focus on CGI and AI-driven production environments.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and data storage systems.
- Experience with CGI & AI hardware and software platforms, cloud services, and technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good “user management” skills and a true passion in being a teamplayer.
