Job Description
The Performance Manager is responsible for front line communication with Experian’s Automotive customers, reviewing their dealerships data, product training and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and retention throughout the dealership landscape. We are looking for someone that customers love dealing with, is in tune and has experience working and managing their own workload. Must be very organized, have excellent problem-solving skills, quick on your feet, is skilled in presenting through phone and via the internet and speaking in front of large groups. This is a highly independent role, but also collaborative with a dealership’s vendors.
The ideal candidate is first and foremost extremely familiar with the automotive industry, standard dealership processes, marketing and automotive trends occurring in the market. Knowledge of SEO/SEM/PPC, Automotive Industry and a passion for content driven marketing strategies and helping dealerships succeed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete Product Training for new customers
- Complete monthly data review calls with customers to review analytics, performance and pull insight and strategy from Experian’s Automotive Platform.
- Understand and identify trends using the reports and data from the web based platform.
- Continued support and appropriate escalation for any questions the clients might have (ongoing basis)
- Create, measure and monitor Dealers short-long-mid term goals
Qualifications
- Proficient in active listening, personal skills necessary to facilitate collaboration between multiple stakeholders and the ability to develop others understanding of new technologies
- Consultant minded. Ability to communicate and influence as a client advocate, making strategic suggestions based on and backed up by data
- Digital background, Content Management System, CRM, Sales Data export experience is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to bring solutions or recommendations, rather than problems, to the project or situation.
- Working knowledge of web marketing best practices, SEO knowledge and familiarity with SEM management and research tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Extremely strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven time management skills - able to handle conflicting priorities and juggle multiple tasks. Ability to handle fast paced, demanding customers and initiatives
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative and learn; demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
- Outstanding presentation and phone skills and passion for helping dealerships succeed
- Must be able to travel occasionally
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in industry experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant customer service experience, automotive industry experience and working with digital marketing
- Experience in the automotive industry is required (Dealership vendor or Sales or Marketing position at a US based Dealership)
- 2-3 years of automotive experience
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM/PPC

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above.
