We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Schematics Mechanical Fitter with expertise in SBT (Small Bore Tubing) and Orbital Welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components, reading, and interpreting engineering schematics, and performing precision welding using orbital welding equipment.
 

As a Schematics Fitter, you will be responsible for:

  • Assembling and fitting mechanical components according to engineering schematics and specifications.

  • Performing precision welding using orbital welding equipment.

  • Conducting quality inspections to ensure welding and fitting processes meet industry standards and specifications.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during assembly and welding processes.

  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure product quality.

  • Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Have proven years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter with expertise in SBT and Orbital Welding.

  • Have experience using CNC bending equipment.

  • Have strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and fitting processes.

  • Be proficient in reading and interpreting engineering schematics and drawings.

  • Holding certification in SBT and Orbital Welding is preferred.

  • Have welding skills and experience with orbital welding equipment.

  • Have strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Have attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
