Board Certified Behavior Analyst

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides case management and clinical oversight for children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, parent training, staff supervision, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary team members within a university-based autism treatment program.
Clinical Case Management
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment programs.
- Conduct assessments including functional behavior assessments, curriculum-based assessments, skill acquisition assessments, and treatment evaluations.
- Analyze data and make treatment recommendations to support client progress.
- Maintain clinical documentation in accordance with insurance, ethical, and organizational requirements.
Staff Supervision and Training
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and support to RBTs and behavior technicians.
- Conduct competency assessments and performance feedback.
- Develop and deliver staff training related to behavior analytic procedures and clinical best practices.
- Promote procedural integrity and high-quality service delivery.
Family and Team Collaboration
- Conduct parent and caregiver training.
- Collaborate with families, psychologists, educators, physicians, and other professionals involved in client care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings.
Direct Clinical Services
- Provide direct treatment when clinically indicated.
- Model intervention procedures and support generalization of treatment programs.
Professional Responsibilities
- Participate in Scott Center and university meetings.
- Maintain BCBA certification and complete required continuing education.
- Adhere to BACB Ethics Code, Florida Tech policies, and applicable payer requirements.
- Support the Scott Center's mission of service, training, and research.
Required
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current BCBA certification or eligibility to sit for the BCBA examination.
- Experience conducting behavioral assessments and developing behavior analytic treatment plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to supervise and provide feedback to clinical staff.
Preferred
- 2+ years of experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
- Experience supervising RBTs and delivering parent training.
