The Associate VP, Enterprise Learning is a key member of Humana’s People Experience team with accountability for leading teams to inspire and empower individual and organizational effectiveness by cultivating a learning culture. This role will lead key teams with an enterprise reach and scope, including: Associate Growth and Development; Enterprise Leadership Development, including Empowered Digital Leaders; and HR Learning Design and Development. The role will also lead a team with accountability for Enterprise Learning Strategy, Governance & Capabilities, and will serve as a matrixed leader for coordinating efforts across Humana’s decentralized learning organization.The Associate VP, Enterprise Learning is responsible for leading teams that inspire and empower individual and organizational effectiveness by cultivating a learning culture. The Associate VP, Enterprise Learning will drive results across several key initiatives, including:
Inspire and empower every associate to reach their full potential through learning and development offerings that welcome new associates, nurture associate skills, foster career advancement, enhance engagement and connect associate development to business goals
Mature Humana’s learning organization toward a defined learning operating model with clear governance to effectively support business goals; provide professional development opportunities and promote collaboration to increase effectiveness and productivity of Humana’s learning professionals through the Learning Consortium
Evolve our Enterprise Learning Measurement Program to enable robust, consistent reporting on a core set of best-practice L&D metrics
Optimize our Enterprise investment in learning platforms, learning technology, learning development tools, and common content to right-size our learning cost structure and improve the experience for associates
Advance Humana’s best-in-class Education Benefit program that underscores Humana’s deep commitment to the associate experience with a focus on talent attraction, talent retention, equitable access and career mobility
Deliver leadership learning experiences to foster consistent leader demonstration of Humana’s Leader Standard mindsets and behaviors; integrate and execute the Leader Standard seamlessly into our organizational culture and practices, fostering leadership excellence and alignment with our strategic goals; create customized leadership experiences and opportunities in order to develop diverse, enterprise, and early talent for a ready now, robust leader pipeline
Support a team capable of designing and developing quality learning experiences to support Enterprise and HR business priorities; design and develop learning that increases associate know how and helps create a safe and healthier environment for teammates; improve HR Learning operational efficiency and productivity through collaboration across Enterprise Learning and with business partners
Elevate business acumen, digital leadership skills and investment decisions resulting in long term sustainable value for targeted leaders engaged in majority of technology investments; elevate business acumen and targeted digital skills and capabilities for targeted associates across the enterprise.
Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications
5 or more years’ experience leading teams, ideally teams focused on Learning, Training, Leadership Development or Talent Development
Prior experience working in a consumer centric company leading a learning function or related function
Prior demonstrated capability leading teams and developing and maintaining a dynamic and high performing team culture.
Progressive business and financial analytics experience with a focus on learning strategies and adult learning theories
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in one of the following areas: Business Administration; Learning and Performance; Education; Human Resources, Organizational Design or Related field.
5 or more years’ experience working in a health care and / or Insurance setting
