<p><u><b>Summary</b></u></p><p><u><b>Job Description:</b></u></p><h1><b><u>Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology</u></b></h1><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>FULL TIME, First Shift</p><p></p><p>Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment.  Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas.  Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. At Baptist Health, we treat the whole person, offering hope and strength on every patient's journey.  </p><p></p><p><b><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></b><u> </u></p><ul><li><p>Provide patient-centered nursing care focusing on healing and wellness. </p></li><li><p>Respect the dignity, uniqueness, and holistic needs of each patient (mind, body, spirit). </p></li><li><p>Practice based on evidence, research, policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. </p></li><li><p>Use critical thinking, creativity, and all phases of the nursing process in clinical <span>decision-making. </span></p></li><li><p>Promote nursing excellence through collaborative relationships with nursing and other healthcare disciplines. </p></li><li><p>Serve as a model of compassion, empathy, and respect in the nursing profession. </p></li><li><p>Provide direct patient care (&gt;50% of time) through: </p><ul><li><p>Nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments. </p></li><li><p>Facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges. </p></li><li><p>Patient and family-centered education. </p></li><li><p>Care coordination and individualized treatment planning. </p></li></ul></li></ul><p> <b><u>Requirements: </u></b></p><ul><li><p>Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky. </p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in nursing or associate’s degree with 10+ years of experience. </p></li><li><p>If hired with an associate’s degree, must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete it within 5 years. </p></li><li><p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. </p></li><li><p>ACLS/PALS/NRP certification (as required by the department). </p></li><li><p>Successful completion of dysrhythmia class (as required). </p></li></ul><p><b>Food Service – Supervisor</b></p><p></p><p>Objectives are to skillfully perform multiple tasks necessary to operate the Food and Nutrition<br/>Services/Dining Services Department to prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, satisfying meals<br/>and to provide quality nutrition care in a safe, sanitary, and cost-effective manner to patients,<br/>clients, and customers.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Job Description:</u></b></p><p></p><p>Coordinates and directs daily operations for assigned areas. Under the supervision of the leadership team, is responsible for the execution of service that is timely, high quality, and meets service and regulatory standards. Ensure team follow established policies, procedures, and practices. Responsible for safe food service including sanitation practices, safe food handling, and temperature monitoring. Coordinates operations with other areas of the department. Promotes teamwork and works collaboratively with other organization employees to manage services and resolve daily issues that impact service. Coaches and trains team members and documents employee discussions. Accountable for managing resources for daily operations – food, supplies, and staffing. Plays a critical role in managing and distributing employee assignments for maximum quality and efficiency each shift.
