We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Lead Trade Compliance Analyst in Peoria, IL.

Job Summary:
- The Lead Trade Compliance Analyst is an advisory role including help with special program assessments, phytosanitary compliance reviews/follow-up, import/export process reviews, trade topics training/communications & root cause corrective action support. This role will also support the Integrated Logistics Services export controls program.

- This role is located in Peoria, IL and does not offer relocation
- This role is 1st shift
- This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
- This role requires up to 10% domestic travel
What You Will Do:
- Management of record-keeping requirements where applicable and prepare analysis and material for review with supervisor on various inquiries.
- Manages completion of classifications and ensures they are in compliance with trade laws.
- Manages the day-to-day operational issues associated with international trade.
- Interacts with business customers to answer questions and solve problems; advises on global trade related issues.
- Addresses complex and detailed classification and licensing questions from varying audiences.
- Monitors global trade regulations and advises enterprise on the impact of changes.
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- International Trade: Knowledge of the markets, issues, regulations, practices and operations of international trade; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Customer Support Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of the organization's customer support policies, standards and procedures; ability to guide customers on all company interactions.
- Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
