About the role
Redaptive is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to work closely with our growing software development team. Are you interested in driving energy-efficiency to scale? If so, you may be a great fit for Redaptive’s Senior Front-End Software Engineer role.
Redaptive is working at the forefront of the energy efficiency space, making innovative energy-metering IOT devices, leveraging a wide variety of best-in class IT products, and building custom software solutions to enable digital transformation. In this role you will interact frequently with a cross-functional and global team of Software Engineers, DevOps, Product Management, and QA. The position is for a React.JS developer who thinks outside the box and can push the limits. We're looking for someone who cares about the quality of code; and who is passionate about end-user-perspective, look-and-feel and ease-of-use. In this role you will work closely with domestic and international teammates.
This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager.
Must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Denver Metro Area.

Job Responsibilities
- End-to-end accountability from understanding requirements/features, implementing enhancements, releasing in production, and ongoing support.
- Development of high-quality UI components, front-end applications, and application architectures.
- Collaborate with a global diverse team, and work in an agile environment to produce consistent results.
- Consistently identifies and proposes new alternative approaches to create scalable implementations.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- 5+ years experience developing production front-end web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Relevant work experience and other training will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with React.js, Typescript, Redux, and Node.js.
- Experience in developing visualizations with time-series data. Experience in building browser-based charts, graphs, lists, tables.
- Working knowledge of integration with backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud computing and the AWS suite. For example- S3, CloudFront, RDS (PostgreSQL), API Gateway.
- Deep knowledge of general web platform concepts including: HTLML5, CSS, CORS, and caching.
- Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to a hybrid of working from home and in an office setting in the Denver Metro Area, Colorado.
Permanent Authorization in the US is required at this time.

- Expected annual salary: 156k (subject to adjustment for relevant experience, skills, geo location)
