Responsibilities:
- Strategically guide the research team, setting clear objectives to inform product development and user experience enhancements.
- Aid in scoping projects by estimating timelines, costs, and methodologies working closely with sales teams and potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical research questions and align on business goals.
- Champion the user perspective, integrating user needs and experiences into the fabric of our product strategies.
- Oversee the execution of comprehensive market analysis, including market sizing, segmentation, and competitive research.
- Lead the design and implementation of usability studies, employing a variety of testing methodologies to garner deep user insights (e.g., A/B testing, tree testing, user flow analysis).
- Lead the design and implementation of primary research via diverse methodologies, including surveys, interviews, field studies, and more.
- Manage and mentor a team of researchers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
- Leverage tools like Qualtrics, Maze, and Useberry for comprehensive UX insights.
- Self-manage research initiatives in dynamic environments, always prioritizing impactful insights.
- Transform intricate research data into actionable, digestible, and compelling narratives.
- Orchestrate research initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-value insights in a fast-paced setting.
- Synthesize complex research findings into strategic recommendations, presenting clear narratives to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 7+ years in market or UX research.
- Demonstrated leadership in a research setting, with experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated expertise in tools like R, SQL, STATA, SPSS, or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of survey design, advanced usability testing techniques, and user flow analysis.
- Expertise in market sizing, segmentation, and consumer need identification.
- Strong grasp of statistical methodologies, such as Regressions, ANOVA, T-Tests, and machine learning.
