We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Resource Industries Operations and Products Division (RIOP) as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner in Peoria, Illinois.
About Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP):
RIOP consists of over 12 product lines, 9 global manufacturing facilities, and approximately 10,000 employees. Our products, services, and solutions primarily support customers in the construction, surface mining, underground mining, quarrying, and aggregates industries.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager Human Resources, the Senior HR Business Partner is the strategic liaison between HR and the business who implements HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provides guidance on HR policies and practices and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development. As a member of the Human Resources team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture. What You Will Do:
- Lead divisional Human Resources processes and provide strategic HR Support to the Product Group.
- Collaborate with senior management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Align HR policies and programs which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
What You Have:
- HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Extensive experience and knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
- Talent Management: Working knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
- Knowledge of Organization: Extensive knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
- Global Perspective: Working knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Top Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Experience in a variety of HR areas including employee relations, benefits, compensation, and talent management
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Knowledge of AI and other data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to solve operational problems

- This role can be based in Peoria, IL, Decatur, IL or Tucson, AZ
- Required travel - 15%
