Job Description
As a Senior Operations Technician with OMES you will enjoy:

Job details
- Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
- Support the Capital and Assets Management (CAM) Division of OMES.
- Salary up to $53,844.00 based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote energy conservation in our facilities. Involve all personnel in taking ownership for success of program
- Respond to work orders assigned to the Energy/Operation group
- Initiate required repairs associated with the building automation systems and HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and associated mechanical systems.
- Assist the Energy Supervisor in developing procedures to consistently test and maintain critical components in the building automation system(s)
- Monitor building automation systems with a proactive approach to resolving system issues.
- Maintain repair/replacement part stock and ensure critical components are always on-hand
- Assist the Energy Supervisor with tasks requiring field assistance or system monitoring
- On-call afterhours and weekend monitoring of state facilities is required on a rotating basis. Emergency on-site responses are sometimes required.
Minimum qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or technical vocation training in applicable areas of service
- 2 years of experience in servicing HVAC mechanical systems
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
- Who can demonstrate extensive experience in building HVAC systems.
- Basic programming logic.
