The Opportunity:  

As a Program and Project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Program and Project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of aligning individual project goals with the overall company vision, prioritizing projects that directly contribute to strategic objectives, effectively managing resources, mitigating risks, and fostering strong communication across teams to ensure projects deliver maximum value to the organization. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, Project Playbooks, Checklists, and Excel Tools and regular interactions with Engineers, Schedulers, Financial Specialists, clients, and leaders.

You Have: 

• Knowledge of planning capabilities to prevent costly delays

• Ability to provide leadership that inspires and motivates teams to achieve established goals

• Ability to bring order and keep projects on track

• Ability to anticipate problems, predict potential problems, and brainstorm solutions in advance

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Business and 4+ years of experience in project management, or Master's degree in Business and 2+ years of experience in project management

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with time management to create realistic schedules and timelines for a project 

• Knowledge of financial management to assist in creating budgets, tracking expenses, and forecasting costs

• Ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate problems from multiple angles and make informed decisions

• Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
