Our Technology team drives the evolution of our Technology, Engineering, Data, Product and User Experience functions. Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy Operations, this role is focussed on initiatives that support employee engagement across Technology including regular communications such as the monthly Technology newsletter, the weekly Tech Pulse, various events and other initiatives including training support, process enhancements, administrative tasks etc. This role is key to support process efficiency and engagement of teams across Technology in the wider work of all teams.
You Will:
Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across Technology Operations, Design, Product and Engineering as well as SMEs and partners across wider Dow Jones.
Plan and organize: define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for project work assigned to you, creating project plans, schedules, and timelines
Communications: Lead the preparation of the monthly Technology newsletter and support the send of the weekly Tech Pulse communication, liaising with stakeholders on timely delivery ensuring everyone is clear on responsibilities
Events: Lead the organization of various events as needed including Tech Talks and Lunch & Learns, ensuring logistics are managed to deliver the best experience for attendees
Training: Coordinate with key stakeholders as required to deliver training support for logistics as requested
Ongoing Process Enhancement: support the wider team by keeping documentation updated for process enhancement, learning and communication initiatives. Help identify blockers and mitigate risks that might impact on delivery and provide regular status updates as required
Role requires 3 days each week in office (as per current mandate, may change)
You Have:
2-5 years of experience in project management
Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to plan, coordinate and execute projects.
Experience working with Design and Product teams.
Proficiency with G-suite products and experience with professional collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Airtable (although training can be provided).
A passion for supporting and enabling people to do their best work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
