Sr. Technician

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide support to production.
• Troubleshoot issues as they occur with equipment, processes, and product related to the designated production test equipment.
• Review test results for trends to identify opportunities for equipment and processes.
• Evaluate change requests and implement appropriate changes to support continuous improvement and preventative maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities and participate in activates to improve product and process quality.
• Actively participate in problem solving processes.
• Provide technical assistance and information regarding production test equipment and test procedures to support business decisions, new product development projects and advanced testing projects.
• Work with other team members and vendors to develop and implement improved or new production test equipment and test procedures.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

• Two year college degree in a technical field, or equivalent troubleshooting / hands on experience
• Strong Computer Skills
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Communicate in an effective, professional manner to facilitate teamwork
• Team player with the ability to provide leadership for change and improvement

 

PREFERED BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related Engineering/Engineering Technology Degree
• Proficient in the use of computer diagnostic equipment used as required to analyze machine problems
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and software test equipment
• Experience with computer programing languages
• Experience with 3D Modeling Software
