We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Program Manager to oversee the development and delivery of our new security product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of project milestones. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that project goals are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timeline, resources, and budget, to ensure the successful delivery of the security product.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all team members have the necessary tools and support to complete their tasks.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a timely and clear manner.
  • Ensure the security product meets quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and implement best practices for project management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven working environment.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying key learnings and areas for improvement to inform future projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the security or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-faceted projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Industry certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or PRINCE2 are preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to project management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
  • Knowledge of security products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and pass a background check.
  • DC metro locals preferred.
