This position is part of the Veralto Enterprise System Office which is headquartered in Wood Dale, IL, USA. This role has the flexibility to be remote and can be located within North America or the United Kingdom– but must be near a major (International) airport, with 50-75% travel.

About the Role:

Our  Veralto Enterprise System (VES) is the foundation of continuous improvement and innovation excellence. As Director of Innovation, VESO, you’ll partner with leaders across our global operating companies (OpCos) to enhance business processes, implement cutting-edge methodologies, and fuel sustained innovation-driven growth.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Influence Innovation Strategy – Partner with Product Development/R&D leadership to develop and execute Innovation VES roadmaps that drive measurable business impact.
• Coach & Mentor – Empower OpCo innovation leaders by training, mentoring, and fostering best practices.
• Optimize & Improve – Enhance VES Innovation Growth tools, ensuring their effectiveness across the enterprise.
• M&A Integration – Play a key role in due diligence and post-acquisition transformation, ensuring acquired companies maximize their innovation potential.
• Shape the Future of Innovation – Contribute to Veralto’s annual Innovation Conference, driving thought leadership and industry best practices.

The essential requirements of the job include: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Marketing, or Business (MBA preferred).
• Experience:10+ years of leadership in Innovation & New Product Development – Product Management experience preferred.
• Expertise in Continuous Improvement – Applying lean principles to innovation is a big plus!
• A passion for experimentation & transformation – You embrace change, challenge the status quo, and drive meaningful improvements.
• Exceptional leadership & communication skills – Ability to engage teams across diverse functions and global markets.
• Experience developing & delivering training (both virtual & in-person).
