Senior Program Manager

Expedia Product & Technology builds innovative products, services, and tools to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers, partners, and our employees. Expedia Group's Business Enablement team is seeking a high-energy, motivated individual to support day-to-day business operations across the Product & Technology organization. We need someone who can facilitate outstanding operational methodologies and work collaboratively across a diverse, large-scale organization to achieve objectives.

As a Program Manager, Business Operations, reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will enable strategic operations, identify and solve problems, and drive operational alignment. This role involves extensive collaboration with leaders from both business and technical backgrounds. You will need to clearly communicate opportunities, ideas, and issues, both verbally and in writing, and drive process implementation and changes with our business partners. In this role, you will:

  • Create, roll out, improve, and manage business processes/frameworks and documentation.
  • Partner with team members to manage key priorities and ensure success.
  • Oversee financial operations, including headcount tracking, discretionary spend tracking, forecasts, and time tracking/compliance.
  • Prepare events and business meetings to review progress towards business goals.
  • Collaborate with business partners to support process rollouts, focusing on continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational quality.
  • Provide general program management support for initiatives and special projects as required.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong critical thinking and business acumen, with a drive for operational excellence and a high level of intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent influencing and organizational change skills, coupled with interpersonal awareness and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and facilitate positive partnerships with key business teams.
  • Flexibility in supporting executive leaders and their teams in both domestic and international offices.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and the ability to achieve results efficiently in a complex environment.
  • Strong process orientation with experience managing programs/projects and leading change from inception to delivery.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload, and maintain tenacity in a dynamic environment.

Additionally, You Will Possess:

  • 8+ years of Program Management or related experience in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work with abstract concepts and communicate them effectively.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to operate independently and prioritize your own work.
  • Strong business insight, analytical, and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
