Be part of a growing Neuroscience service line in the Capital City of South Carolina.MUSC Health - Columbia Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE General Neurosurgeon with expertise in both spine and basic cranial work for our new and expanding Neurosurgery practice located in Columbia, South Carolina. The chosen candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical services, and high quality, compassionate care to patients in the Midlands region of South Carolina, and beyond.
This position will be integrated programmatically with the Medical University of South Carolina’s Department of Neurosurgery located on its main campus in Charleston, SC.
Within MUSC’s Department of Neurosurgery, you’ll find one of the nation’s largest teams of leading specialists in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neuroendovascular Surgery, Radiation Oncology, Neuroradiology, Neuropathology, Psychiatry, Neuro-Nursing, and related fields. Using a collaborative approach, we leverage cutting-edge technologies and innovative facilities to provide comprehensive care to our patients. By integrating clinical research and basic science into our practice, we ensure patients benefit from the latest protocols and research findings. This integrated model fosters a continuous feedback loop, facilitating the swift translation of discoveries from bench to bedside.

About this position:
- 80-90% Spine and Basic Cranial work
- Join a growing Neuroscience service line in the Capital City of South Carolina
- Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Expertise in performing spinal and cranial surgeries
- Collaborative approach to care in partnership with IP/OP Rehab, PM&R
- Block OR scheduling
- Practice is located in a Medical Office Building connected to the Operating Facility
