The Bosch Powertrain Solutions (PS) group focuses on Automated, Connected and Electrified technology with new customers and progressive mobility players. The Powertrain Solutions team is leading the innovation and development for the Vehicles of the future.
Powertrain Solutions Electronic Controls (PS-EC) department develops and manufactures powertrain control units in international collaboration and offers services for the whole Powertrain. Our future-oriented powertrain technology is a decisive contributor towards making vehicle more dynamic, cleaner and more economical. In Sunnyvale, our PS-EC department is focusing on developing new customers, acquiring customer projects, and scouting business opportunities.
Recently, PS has started developing "data driven digital services" targeted towards Commercial Vehicle Fleets among other customer groups. We are in the process of including non-automotive applications, focusing more and more on connected and cloud solutions.
Job Description
You’ll be assigned to a team and will work on real-life projects, intended for sale in the market. You will support senior engineer on developing, configuring, deploying solutions to Azure and other cloud environment.
- On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business
- Start to get the experience of development on the platforms by picking up challenging tasks with the support of an experienced senior engineer
- Support the implementation of technical improvements which will make the development more efficient and the platform more supportable
- Perform rapid prototyping to support functional requirement development
- Support the test team to analyze and debug issues
- Participate in program review meetings, interface studies, design review.
- Present interim and final presentations of your work to technology executives
- Troubleshoot / Debug web portal issues
Qualifications
Basic qualification:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree.
Preferably in the final year of undergrad or already graduated.
Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Experience interacting with APIs
- Interest in Product development
- Attention to detail
- Self-driven work ethic
Preferred
1+ year academic or industry experience in developing solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS
Added advantage if there are any technical certifications – Microsoft Azure, AWS
Candidate should have Problem Solving and analytical Skills
Self-motivated and Multitasking capabilities to work on different projects
Good communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
· Desire to explore and create things, which you will demonstrate in a final presentation to both the team and the company at large
