Hours: Full Time; Mon-Fri (40 hrs/week)
Job Duties:
Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models. Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality. Serve as the architectural Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing and implementing large-scale connected planning solutions and exemplify “The Anaplan Way”. Provide candid, meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the Business Partner and team. Develop model documentation, participate in data integration and migration solutions, and participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment. Support the development of best practice standards by producing template toolkits for key use case functionalities. Build Data Hubs, Planning models and UX for ETL, Planning, Reporting, Budgeting, and Data Analytics tasks using Anaplan tools. Responsible for building hyper connected models for several clients by writing code using the Anaplan platform ranging from Supply Chain Applications, Forecasting, Management Reporting, and optimizer to build solutions for complex business problems in a timely manner. Utilize Business Intelligence Engineering skills to build data structures, modules, and user experience, and train end users on the solution for adoption. Responsible for the end-to-end project implementation deliverables. Responsible for the successful delivery of Anaplan planning solutions in strategic accounts. Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software. Remote work is permissible. Up to 25% domestic travel required.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field, and three (3) years of related work experience. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Special Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience must include:
- Designing and developing solutions to complex problems, system administration issues, or network concerns;
- Knowledge in Business Analytics/Statistics and experience working with Enterprise Planning Management solutions;
- Gathering and documenting requirements for a variety of client performance management needs, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, reporting, and analysis, and translating client requirements into physical and logical designs;
- Conducting system integration, data loading, and regression testing activities with various transaction and financial systems;
- Performing requirement analysis, project scoping, and time and effort estimation, and preparing test data to validate constructed applications;
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools including PowerBI, Tableau, and Advanced Excel; and
- Experience in ETL tasks using SQL, RDBMS, and MS SQL Server.
