This hybrid position is based in Columbus, OH. Candidates located near a Nationwide campus will collaborate in office 3 days per week and enjoy the flexibility of remote work the remaining days. Current Nationwide Remote Associates will also be considered.

Retirement Solutions, Awareness Marketing Specialist

We’re seeking an Acquisition Awareness Marketing Specialist – responsible for creating engaging physical and digital experiences that build awareness and consideration of Nationwide with retirement plan advisors, consultants and plan sponsors.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the strategy, planning and activation of our annual conference marketing – including goal setting, budget allocation and conference selection, partner and vendor relationships, messaging, branding and physical presence, attendance, lead collection, etc.

  • Own the Retirement Solutions acquisition website strategy, targeting both advisors and plan sponsors, including audience insights, organization, content, calls-to-action, promotions, personalization, SEO and paid search

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (sales, product, creative and delivery teams / agencies, user experience, compliance) to deliver seamless, compliant, and impactful marketing experiences; ensure sales team is well-prepared and positioned to build relationships at conferences

  • Monitor conference and website marketing trends and market / audience trends to adapt these assets to stay relevant, engaging and aligned to goals

  • Track performance and optimize our presence using data-driven insights and feedback from the field

What You Bring:

  • A desire to travel to conferences a few times a year, to scout, evaluate, activate and / or engage with our core audiences (advisors and plan sponsors) as well as sales partners

Additional requirements:

  • This role requires FINRA licensing: SIE and Series 6

  • This role will travel to attend our top conferences each year – typically 3-4
