AVP, SEC Reporting Manager

Summary/Objectives

The SEC Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of all required SEC reports and disclosures for the Bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions

1. Prepare and review SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with SEC and GAAP regulations.
2. Coordinate and manage the external reporting process, including drafting financial statements, footnotes, and Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A).
3. Ensure compliance with SEC, FASB, and other regulatory reporting requirements applicable to financial institutions.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEC regulations, accounting pronouncements, and industry best practices.
5. Assist in the preparation of earnings releases, investor presentations, and other public communications.
6. Work closely with external auditors and regulators to facilitate reviews and examinations.
7. Collaborate with internal departments, including Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and Legal, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
8. Enhance and streamline financial reporting processes and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
9. Support ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

Requirements

• CPA and/or prior experience in public accounting.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and FDIC reporting requirements.
• Experience with XBRL tagging and SEC filing software.
