RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Architect frontend, backend, DevOps, and data solutions 
• Ensure the scalability of technical solutions whilst maintaining fast iteration times 
• Setup, support, and maintain frameworks for efficient development with a high focus on developer experience 
• Design and optimize database structures and APIs 
• Develop testable code and integrate it with a CI/CD pipeline
• Support infrastructure decisions with practical insights 
• Support and mentor more junior team members
• Keep up to date with, implement, and create your own state of the art software best practices

 

Ultimately, we expect deep industry knowledge as well as technical and excellent industry-related engineering expertise.

Your profile

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in computer science/informatics or a comparable qualification with work experience 
• +5 years of experience as a software engineer
• In-depth experience with
  • Building web applications using modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., Nest.js, Next.js)
  • Working with relational and time-series databases, alongside ORMs like Timescaledb and PrismaORM
  • Data pipelines, including knowledge of data pipeline architecture 
  • UNIX and git
  • Agile software development
• Bonus if you have experience with
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab CI, Circle CI).
  • Cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • UX/UI design principles
  • TDD and Clean Code
