We are seeking a talented professional responsible for managing and overseeing the xVA (Valuation Adjustments) reporting functions within an international CIB, particularly utilizing the Murex platform. The role involves a combination of financial expertise, technical skills, and Murex system knowledge.

Role and responsibilities:

  • xVA Reporting: Develop and maintain robust xVA reporting processes using the Murex platform to ensure accurate and timely reporting of valuation adjustments, including CVA (Credit Valuation Adjustment), DVA (Debit Valuation Adjustment), FVA (Funding Valuation Adjustment), etc.

  • Murex System Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on the Murex system, understanding its functionalities and capabilities to optimize xVA reporting processes and workflows.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data, market data, and trading activities to support xVA calculations and reporting. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the valuation adjustments.

  • Single Point of Contact: Act as the single point of contact for all xVA reporting matters, including store procedures and data extractions. Facilitate communication and coordination among relevant stakeholders.

  • Highly Detailed Technical Aspect: Demonstrate a high level of detail in the technical aspect of xVA reporting. Ensure precision and accuracy in implementing and maintaining reporting procedures.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and trading desks, to gather data inputs, validate assumptions, and address any discrepancies in xVA calculations.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements related to xVA reporting and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

  • Process Improvement and Documentation : Identify opportunities for process improvements in xVA reporting workflows, automation, and efficiency. Implement enhancements to optimize the reporting process. Maintain comprehensive documentation of xVA reporting processes, methodologies, and assumptions. Ensure that documentation is in compliance with internal and external audit standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) is a plus.

  • Extensive experience in xVA reporting within a financial institution, with a focus on Murex system utilization.

  • Strong understanding of financial derivatives, risk management, and valuation adjustments.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and experience with data analysis tools.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

The salary range for this role is US$115,000 - US$160,000
