Emergency Technician *Full-Time*

Emergency Technician at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA.  Positions available are full-time and will work 12-hour shifts.  Available shifts may include nights or evenings.

Under minimal supervision, operates cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce optimal echocardiograph images for diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function for adult and geriatric patients.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Demonstrated initial and ongoing competency in Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation.
• Coursework/Training: Will be enrolled in an internally developed online course as part of orientation.
• Coursework/Training: Will have periodic competency assessments.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Current Phlebotomy Certificate upon hire.
• 6 months Acute care experience
• Training as a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT or Paramedic

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
