About the role

To provide a variety of administrative support functions within respective business unit(s), in support of daily operations. Under immediate supervision, follow basic processes and procedures to accomplish routine tasks. Receive and respond to inquiries from internal/external sources and/or members to ensure effective, timely and accurate service. Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures. Entry level Administrative role, completes work with little autonomy.

  • Receives, sorts and assigns incoming, mail and electronic correspondence
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries received through various media channels
  • Collect, prepare, and maintain data for analysis, reports, and reference
  • Collect, sort, and distribute reports, correspondence, on-line messages, and faxes
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies/processing problems to include documentation and time-sensitive issues
  • Track and update action items in database(s)
  • Complete data entry in automated systems; may generate reports
  • Establish, organize, and maintain filing systems
  • Operate and maintain standard office equipment
  • Maintain hardcopy and/or computer-based files and records
  • Maintain and stock essential materials and supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Entry level position with little or no prior relevant training or work experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Basic clerical, technical or administrative skills
  • Basic keyboarding/typing skills
  • Basic skill reviewing documents for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet software skills
  • Basic skill applying research and interpretation of findings to respond to requests
  • Basic skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
  • Basic skill following, interpreting, and applying guidelines, procedures, practices, regulations
  • Basic skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Basic skill performing mathematical calculations and working accurately with numbers
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of NFCU products, services, programs, policies, and procedures

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Location: 5550 Heritage Oaks Drive Pensacola, FL 32526 

Not a hybrid role, full time onsite
