Responsible for performing a variety of duties relating to the underwriting of loans; coordinating work within the department as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries and requests from other personnel.

Essential Duties

1. Performs various duties relating to the closing of mortgage loans as follows:
2. Demonstrates all aspects of Fidelity’s Model Experience to ensure exceptional internal and external customer service.
3. Coordinates closings with the Mortgage Consultant, bank attorney and the borrower.
4. Ensures all conditions are cleared prior to closing.
5. Prepares Closing Disclosures when needed.
6. Prepares necessary documents for closing.
7. Reviews construction stage payouts; interacts with customer regarding construction payouts and loan decisions.
8. Collects necessary documentation for moving construction mortgages to permanent financing and prepares any modifications needed to do so.
9. Prepares loan files for sale in the secondary market.
10. Conducts a post closing review of the mortgage file.
11. Sends files to be booked to the core system.
12. Provides information for and assists in the preparation of various loan reports as directed.
13. Provides support to Mortgage Loan Originators.
14. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
15. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
16. As an employee of FDDB, you are expected to have a through understanding of the company’s polices and procedures pertaining to compliance. You are expected to cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. HMDA Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. You are expected to complete all necessary compliance training provided to you.
17. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel.
18. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

1. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the position, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual.
