Fairless Hills, PA | Part Time, Hourly | $16 - $20 per hour | Evening/Weekend availability for private lessons

We are looking for an Ability Program Swim Instructor to join our team at the Y! We spend our days positively impacting the community around us. We help young adults increase independence through community based activities, job skill exploration, and healthy living experiences.

What is needed for this job as an Ability Program Swim Instructor:

• 18+ years of age
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health concerns in a recreational or educational setting
• Have the ability to successfully complete our in-water skills assessment
• Have experience working with children
• Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)

The responsibilities we will trust you with as an Ability Program Swim Instructor:

• Working with special needs individuals to help them achieve their swim-skill goals
• Ensuring that lessons are conducted in accordance with the YMCA's internal lesson plans and policies
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for the students to thrive in
