As a member of the CAD/CAM team, you will be an active contributor to the factory volume ramp and standardization efforts.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Create, troubleshoot, and debug robotic systems to ensure efficient and safe operation
  • Validate robotic motion programs for shop floor applications
  • Work cross-functionally and with Engineering teams to identify tooling, process parameters or new equipment designs
  • Provide daily operator support in the form of robotic programming and troubleshooting support
  • Develop new robotic automation process technology
  • Generate and support workstation instructions as needed
  • Initiate, lead, and participate in process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery
  • Provide effective communication regarding program execution and performance across multiple internal cross-functional teams
  • Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice (or similar) graduate with 3 years of experience with robotic programming[OR] High School Degree w/6 years of experience with robotic programming
  • 3+ years robotic programming experience with Roboguide, RobotStudio, KUKA.sim, or other similar robotic simulation and programming software

What will make you stand out

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
  • Familiarity with robotic automated blend or thermal spray systems
  • Proficiency with Python, C++, Java, RAPID, or KAREL
  • Familiarity with thermal spray coatings including Air Plasma Spray (APS) and High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF)
  • Familiarity with FANUC robotic and automation systems
  • Proficiency at robot I/O management and troubleshooting robotic systems logic
  • Experience programming PLC’s & HMI’s
  • Demonstrated proficiency interpreting drawing requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task and productively manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience with Siemens NX CAD software

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $ 90,400.00 - $120,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% annual bonus.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
