As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with individuals on site, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to a healthcare location, such as restricted areas or patient privacy concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
