New Studio Openings Launch Manager Overview
Reports to: Sr. Director, New Studio Openings
We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented New Studio Openings Launch Manager (NSO-LM) to join our Franchise Support team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the successful launch of new franchise studios by providing on-site leadership during their first week of operation. Your presence and expertise will give franchise owners and their teams the confidence, tools, and coaching they need to deliver an exceptional client experience and operate independently. This role requires frequent travel (85%) and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments. When not traveling, the NSO-LM Manager plays a vital role in providing administrative support for the New Studio Openings (NSO) department, documents and shares lessons learned to continuously optimize future launches, and reports feedback about the studio to internal teams.
1. On-Site Launch Support
- Provide hands-on support in-studio during the first few days of a new franchise opening.
- Guide teams through opening and closing procedures in real time.
- Shadow and coach Studio Leads on client greetings, check-ins, and membership sales conversations.
- Observe instructors and provide feedback to ensure brand standards are met.
- Troubleshoot operational or technical issues as they arise.
- Train teams on systems, technology, and troubleshooting A/V
- Model best practices for delivering a world-class member experience.
- Train owners and GM on how to manage the day-to-day operationsBuild rapport easily and work seamlessly with owners, general managers, instructors, and front desk staff alike.
- Ensure the Franchise Owner/General Manager and Studio Lead teams are confident and prepared to operate independently by the end of the visit.
2. Coaching & Team Development
- Act as a mentor and trainer for franchise owners, General Managers, and frontline staff.
- Provide in-the-moment feedback, encouragement, and reinforcement of training.
- Answer questions and build team confidence during their first client interactions.
- Conduct a formal debrief at the end of the onsite visit with key strengths and areas of opportunity.
- Visit open studios and provide support and feedback as needed
3. Brand Representation
- You’ll be the guardian of the vibe—making sure the studio always has that sparkle and feels like the coolest place to be
- High stamina and resilience; able to thrive during long, fast-paced opening days while keeping energy and morale high
- Serve as the on-site representative of JETSET Pilates, ensuring brand culture and standards are upheld
- Transition ownership of the studio to the franchisee and General Manager with a clear action plan for ongoing success
4. Travel Requirements & Work Environment
- Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time to new franchise markets (JETSET provides company-paid travel)
- Willingness to be at Studios for early morning and late evening classes
- Must be located in the Dallas area & able to work on-site at the Regional Training & Support Center in Dallas between periods of travel
5. Administrative Tasks
- Document observations and provide a post-visit opening report to studio leadership and for internal teams
- Complete construction close-out videos and escalate any outstanding issues
- Coordinate on-site schedules to ensure studio staff are in attendance for training session(s)
- While not on-site with studios, provide administrative support for the NSO department by setting up systems and platforms, maintaining project management tools, managing shared onboarding email inbox and other duties as assigned
