About the Role

The Operator II performs intermediate production operations by independently operating equipment and maintaining workflow efficiency. The role is responsible for executing production tasks, troubleshooting routine issues, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Success in this role results in consistent production output, improved operational efficiency, and reliable product quality within manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Maintain ownership of equipment performance ensuring consistent production output and efficiency. 
  • Operate production equipment independently following standard work instructions. 
  • Set up machines and adjust settings based on production requirements. 
  • Monitor production processes and make adjustments to maintain workflow continuity. 
  • Support changeovers and assist with troubleshooting routine equipment issues.
  • Inspect products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. 
  • Identify and resolve routine quality or production issues to minimize disruptions. 
  • Document production output, defects, and process data accurately. 
  • Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements within assigned operations. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and quality. 
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE during all operations. 
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas to support efficient production flow. 
  • Identify safety risks and escalate concerns to supervision. 
  • Assist in training Operator 1 employees on basic tasks and procedures. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards. 

 

Additional Expectations

 

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

 

 

What You'll Bring

 

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred. 
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment independently. 
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow requirements. 
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control. 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage priorities. 
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills. 
  • Experience with ERP, MES, or production tracking systems. 
  • Experience with automated or CNC equipment. 
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or contin
