MSA Professional Services is looking for a Project Manager – Transportation Engineering to join our team in St. Paul, MN. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of impactful infrastructure projects that enhance the communities we serve — from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Project Manager at MSA, you'll lead cross-functional teams on complex transportation engineering projects that span service lines and disciplines. Your responsibilities include:

• Client Engagement & Business Development: Partner with leaders and client managers to identify opportunities and build strong relationships.

• Project Leadership: Lead all project phases — from pursuit and initiation to planning, execution, and close-out.

• Resource Coordination: Assemble and guide internal and external resources, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.

• Technical Oversight: Review, certify, and stamp deliverables as needed while ensuring compliance and quality assurance.

• Team Collaboration: Act as the key point of contact across workshare and project teams.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field (preferred).

• 6+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years with a master’s and PE license.

• Solid understanding of Minnesota Department of Transportation (MDOT) design standards and submittal processes.

• Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to close-out.

• Strong business acumen with a track record of managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

• Passion for mentoring and developing junior staff.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
