Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering (West)

Webflow is seeking a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering who will lead a team of Solution Engineers that partner closely with Account Executives to develop value-oriented solutions that tell our differentiated story to customers. This leader will also work with their team and cross-functional stakeholders to influence product direction by being a champion for our customers and partners.

You will build and run a diverse team of talented Solutions Engineers, with a focus on earning customer trust, empowering team members in their career development, and fostering an inclusive work environment. Success in this role requires strong leadership, priority management, technical aptitude, ability to create clear processes from ambiguity, interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.

• Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges depending on the cost of labor of the geographic area. The ranges shared below may change if you are hired in another geographic location. 
  • United States  (all figures cited below in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)
    • Zone A: $200,000 - $275,000
    • Zone B: $190,000 - $261,300
    • Zone C: $180,000 - $248,00
  • Canada  (All figures cited below in CAD and pertain to workers in BC, Canada)
    • $226,900 - $312,50

For sales roles, the ranges provided are the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) ranges, meaning that the ranges include both the sales commissions target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Webflow and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s market location, job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends

As a Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering, you’ll … 

• Build, scale, and manage a high-performance team of Solution Engineers that support sales in the Enterprise, Mid Market and SMB segments of our business. 
• Define & clarify priority objectives for the team that ensure success of the broader SE organization.
• Coach Solutions Engineers on how to run effective discovery, develop customer specific solutions, create compelling demos and deliver value focused business cases to customers.
• Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating in and leading customer meetings. 
• Collaborate closely with first-line sales leaders to ensure SE contributions are being leveraged to optimize customer success & ARR opportunity.
• Work closely with cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering and Marketing to ensure the Solution Engineering team is influencing the direction of our products and services based on customer feedback.
• Work with the Senior Director of SE and the SE leadership team to build strategy, appropriate processes, measurement and infrastructure needed to maximize SE productivity in the near & long-term. Additionally, identify opportunities for improvement & propose refined solutions.
