CNCC, our marketing, creative strategy, and production department, is responsible for harnessing that power and passion to create and execute the industry’s most compelling programs, initiatives and partnerships.

At Condé Nast Commercial Creative, Creative Strategy sets the roadmap for success to help our teams drive creativity to new heights. 

The Creative Strategy team plans and develops commercial solutions for Condé Nast advertisers. The team create brief requirements and strategies using audience insights and category trends to shape the proposal. We collaborate with Creative and Global Brand Leads and liaise with different content experts to create compelling and successful campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage, motivate and lead CNCC Creative Strategy for the Health Division, tailoring team needs to help further achieve Division and Category business goals

    • Collaborate with Category Leads in Pre-Sale and sales to identify client and business specific needs to fuel future wins and drive packaging strategy.

  • Oversee Creative Strategy for Health and Pharma, assigning proposals to a team of four and managing workload accordingly.

  • Mentor junior members of the team and help guide training, onboarding and staffing needs

  • Provide strategic inputs for Health and Pharma proposals, process documents, innovation, and future planning based on program intel and team needs.

  • Identify potential campaign, program and brand hurdles and connect with other departments in real time to fix and ease the issues.

  • Effectively manage program budgets, timelines, and content/talent agreements.

  • Helped identify and build a database with writers, vendors, and division/category-specific talent, building long-term relationships for the team and future project collaborations.

  • Cultivate relationships with key sales leads/CBOs, clients, industry leaders, production partners, and internal teams.

  • Monitor industry and media trends to help identify new partnership offerings.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of qualifying experience in strategy, content planning or relevant brand marketing

  • 4+ years of experience leading teams and mentoring talent

  • Candidate must have health or pharma experience

  • Experience planning media and content campaigns

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines professionally and with rigour

  • Process-minded, with next-level attention to detail; appreciation for Google Docs and trackers

  • Self-starter who can work independently and within a team setting

  • Positive, creative, solutions-oriented and client-focused

  • Experience with Google Slides/Suite preferred but not required

Base Salary: $150,000 - $197,000
